Geometric Cabinet

A beautifully finished cabinet with six drawers containing thirty five geometric insets and frames made of wood.
The Geometric Cabinet serves as an introduction to plane geometry and encourages the child to recognize the representation of shapes leading to an abstract conception of form. The drawers are arranged as follows:

Drawer 1- Six circles arranged in order of size and with diameters ranging from 5cm to 10cm.

Drawer 2- Six rectangles arranged in order of size and with equal length, with width ranging from 5cm to 10cm.

Drawer 3- Six triangles
of differing sides and angles.

Drawer 4- Six regular polygons which would inscribe in a circle of 10 cm pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon and decagon.

Drawer 5- Four curvilinear figures, a curved triangle, a quatrefoil an ellipse and an ovoid, the seventh triangle and one blank.

Drawer 6- Six quadrilaterals: rhombus, parallelogram, trapezium , trapezoids, chevron, kite.
