Each lower-case letter of the alphabet is formed with sand on individual boards. The boards are coloured blue for vowels and pink for consonants, with an unobtrusive black line along the bottom of each board to show correct orientation. The letters come with their own sturdy storage box.
Helps children learning to write by familiarising them with the shape of the letters. The tactile sensation of the sand helps them trace the these with their fingers.
Both the blue and pink boards are screen printed for a smooth and durable finish. The letters are formed from sand directly affixed to the board, and we have taken care while manufacturing to ensure the sand-letter shapes will be exceptionally long-lasting.
